Pacquiao on Five Peso Bill.jpg

Can I just say? That Manny Pacquiao on the face of this five peso bill as a stand-in for Emilio Aguinaldo is quite a scary thought? Especially since the boxer is rumored to be seeking political office (or has this rumor been confirmed yet?)

  • Guys,

I think there is nothing to make fuzz about on this one…..this is just a work of a fan…his way of paying tribute to the guy…see link below.

    It’s cool though…:-)

Though it is still accepted as a legal tender, the printing of “5-Peso Note” has already been stop long ago. Also, I am not sure if it’s PGMA’s signature affix on the money…..picture is kind of blurry…..still need to verify the sig. :-(

And besides…..for what he has done so far for the country.

    E. Aguinaldo and A. Bonifacio helps liberate the Pilipinos….and by the word “help”, means there were lots of them……But Pacquiao, he ALONE is capable of uniting his homeland…even for a brief moment. He also uplift the morale, dignity, motivation, etc of most (if not all) pinoys from home-base and towards all over the world.

Having said that, I think he deserves such tribute.

    Just my two cents….

    Jet
