I got this from the email, forwarded by one of my friends. I don’t know if this is true, as I am not a Letterman viewer (I only watch Leno and Conan). If someone has been able to watch this particular episode or if someone can confirm this, I would appreciate a comment.

10. The White House is not big enough for in-laws and extended relatives.
9. There are not enough parking spaces at the White House for 2 Honda Civics, 2 Toyota Land Cruisers, 3 Toyota Corollas, Mercedes Benz, BMW (Big Mean Wife), and MPV (My Pinoy Van).
8. Dignitaries generally are intimidated by eating with fingers at State dinners.
7. There are too many dining rooms in the White House – where will they put the Last Supper picture?
6. The White House walls are not big enough to hold a set of giant wooden spoon and fork.
5. Secret Service staff won’t respond to “pssst…pssst”.

Hmmm…the humor is a bit too esoteric for Americans. I think that one was written by a Filipino.

This is a funny list, but I don’t think that Letterman would devote a Top 10 to this subject. He usually does Top 10 lists on current events, but there hasn’t been any Philippine-specific story that would grab enough attention in the US for him to poke fun at. But Leno made some comments about the Philippine troops pulling out of Iraq as a result of the hostage.
Since you got this in a forwarded email, it’s a very good bet that someone made this up. Whenever I see the words “Please forward this to everyone on your mailing list”, I know what to do with it.

What a load of crap….Balikbayan boxes are carefully weighed on four cans of Campbell soup with a 120lb limit.

This isn’t true, and I believe Snopes.com even debunked it. 99% of people wouldn’t have the slightest clue what any of these are referring to.
