I get a lot of hits on my blog with the search for Inq7 columnist Patricia Evangelista. Apparently, Evangelista has established a following. Good for her. Like I said on my entry on her, I like reading her columns once in a while. Sometimes she has a flair for the overly dramatic but there has been a consistency that has showed up in her writing which makes her a columnist to watch, not unlike those *ehem* converts who have crossed over to the column-writing genre. For those of you who want to learn more about her, I unfortunately don’t have that much info. I only wrote one blog entry on her and this is the second. You can always log on to inq7 and look for her column. She has an email address at the bottom of her column and you can contact her there.

Britney and K-Fed are divorcing. Hurrah, hurrah! Good for Brit. That guy, the butt of all jokes, was really bad for her. Bad enough that she got pregnant two consecutive times. Bad enough that she has no current career to speak of. I’m sure that Brit will repackage herself and relaunch her career. That will give the tabloids more fodder.

I bought me an ipod nano. I just basically use it to listen to a few songs over and over again and especially to download podcasts and listen to them on the commute to work. So far, my favorites are NPR and anything and everything that talks about food and writing. I also like listening to the pods of the tv shows that I watch. The most useless one was the episode recap of House, their official pod. Why couldn’t they just have a commentary or something?

My current joy is watching back episodes of tv shows on the internet. They’re posted on the show’s website, at least for CBS and ABC. Since I don’t have a  high tech tv and my cable is gone, I have to  make a choice when watching programs and the shows on the net give me a chance to catch up.
