Wow.
Was that a derogatory comment about the Philippines on Desperate Housewives?
The scene where Susan’s gynecologist tells her that she might be suffering from menopause finds Teri Hatcher remarking that she has to check the doctor’s credentials just to make sure that he did not earn his medical degree from just some medical school in the [...]

My first baseball game
Yup, tonight I watched my first baseball game at the Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers were playing the Rockies and they were losing so bad we left during the 7th inning. It was fun though because it was free blanket night and I got my souvenir. Plus the tickets were free so all the better. [...]

Private Practice debuts, Dirty Sexy Money rocks
Halfway through watching ABC 7’s Private Practice, I don’t know whether I like it or not.
The dancing was overkill. The partners not knowing of Adison’s transfer was suspension of disbelief. The plot of the mistress wanting the husband’s sperm? I watched it before on Jericho Crossing Jordan it was, I think.

Now Dirty Sexy Money [...]

Papa’s epitaph
Husband, father, brother,
Who put family above all other.
Today I had to write papa’s epitaph and this is what I came up with. Short, sweet, encompassing everything that he was to us.
I miss him. I wish I could just pick up the phone and hear his voice on the other end of the line like I [...]

Lost Post #3: On The Buzz episode a few weeks back
Random thoughts on a back episode of The Buzz. Recovered post. Yipee to wordpress for recovering my drafts:
As Ruffa Gutierrez twirls around to show her backless outfit, her bilbil folds are still in plain sight despite the thank yous to Drs. Calayan.

Lost Post #2: Short post on Magic Castle
Recovered post on the Magic Castle:
The Magic Castle at Hollywood rocks!
The castle is home to the academy of magical arts.
In one of the main shows, I was asked to be the magician’s assistant so I had to go onstage. It was a comedy/magic routine. I was asked to assist a magician by holding out props [...]

Lost and found post #1: On Jane Austen
The wordpress gods must have been working double time. The lost post on Jane Austen has been found. I wrote this maybe three weeks ago. Better late than never posted. Here is the post on Jane Austen:
I just realized that Jane Austen gets me depressed.
I watched Becoming Jane and had to stop myself from bawling. [...]

Erap verdict
It took me hours to try to download the complete text of the Erap verdict. Found it on a blog but wanted to get the Inquirer.net version. Must mean that people were actually downloading it if Inquirer exceeded its bandwith.
Of course I didn’t read the 173 pages. Don’t plan to but just might. Here is [...]

Erap guilty of plunder!
What now brown cow?
Joseph “Erap” Estrada was found guilty of plunder. His son Jinggoy and Atty. Serapio were acquitted. Erap was acquitted of perjury.
What next? Do they appeal to the Supreme Court? Will there be street protests? This situation is not a win-win for Arroyo, like I said previously, but in all aspects, a win-win [...]
