I knew I was getting all cynical when, explaining what’s important news from the Philippines to a Fil-Am, I said, “Well, the issue is not if someone dies. Someone always dies on a daily basis. The question is, who’s dead and how did they die?”

Or something to that effect. It’s bad, I know. But I can’t help but think it. Because that’s the reality.

Well, the question of who died was the important question to ask with the Batasan bombing. One congressman confirmed dead, a few other aides dead, and another congressman and others critically injured.

The thing is, with this particular bombing, it could have been any of the congressmen who could have been killed. It could have been big ears JDV, it could have been one of them who have women stashed left and right, it could have been one of them who have stripped the Philippine economy bare in the interests of lining their own pockets. Now they’re all frigging scared.

I’m watching Bandila, ABS CBN’s news program and thinking, what the heck, they allowed TV cameras in to film the bloody bodies of the victims of the blast while the doctors are working on them! Anovayan!

They also showed a doctor talking on a cellphone while attending to the victim!

Haha. Ces Drilon was stammering. She said that the reporter was at V. Luna when she just mentioned earlier over and over that the reporter is at St. Lukes.

Nanawagan tayo na iwan ang mga haka haka…GMA on trying to inspire people to not chismis about the situation. Robotic delivery. Unbelievable.

The music playing in the background is frigging irritating. Can’t they [Bandila] just take that out and maybe the news will be better to watch?

Do we see a pattern here? Rene Saguisag, an opposition lawyer, almost gets killed when his vehicle is hit by a dump truck. Congressman Wahab Akbar is dead. He is from the Liberal Party. It can be two separate incidents. It could be related to the Glorietta bombings even. I don’t believe in coincidences, I believe there’s a pattern to all things.

And then after you watch the gruesome news, you turn to another channel, GMA, and they show gyrating girls in short skirts, the audience waving their hands. You switch because you can’t stand to watch another ep of the show that follows the news on ABS.

Okay. Enough with the rambling. I’ll make it a point to be more coherent next time. But am I not making more sense with this rambling?
