With reruns of America’s Next Model (2006 at that), an impending New Year’s bash to be hosted by Tila Tequila (who’s “talent” no doubt is flaunting her sexuality), and specials by Perez Hilton (who’s nasty online but really just blah and trying hard on camera), it’s no wonder that MTV is in the dumps. What happened to that fierce, edgy channel I used to watch in high school?

Where are the frigging music videos? I get my music fix when I feel like it from VH1 and not MTV because everytime I switch on that channel they have crap like the obviously scripted The Hills going on. Those artists who dissed the channel at the MTV music awards (was it Justin Timberlake?) were right in saying that MTV should go back to basics. Start playing those videos and have more music-related shows. Enough of the reality crap!

A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila is the most pretentious TV show I have ever watched, with the supposed bisexual angle.  And now there are going to be spinoffs!

Ayayay. With no fresh episodes from the big networks in sight, TV is going to be a drag in the next couple of months.
