Call me geeky, but I wouldn’t mind having a date with this type of guy.

this type of guy? i guess it depends on who he works for. would you date a speech writer for a candidate whose political orientation is opposite ur own? that’d make for fiery dates (and a fine idea for a reality show…)

It’s the idea of this kind of guy.
Obviously, I don’t know him because we haven’t met. But someone with a set of ideals. Preferably same as mine but if not, all I ask is he be open-minded and can discuss ideas intelligently without looking down on someone who doesn’t share the same ideals as his.
He’s cute (at least, based on the photo). He’s smart, has guts and is able to write close to poetry for Obama, whom I immensely like.
Of course I would ate a speech writer whose political orientation is opposite mine.
For example, I have expressed admiration for Chiz Escudero and Adel Tamano who spoke for the opposition when Erap was hugely unpopular. Because they were smart, articulate, passionate and yes, because they were cute. He he.

Why would it be geeky to go out with a political speechwriter? That sounds like an extremely cool job, if you ask me. This guy has an awesome gig. (Don’t worry — I’m not a speechwriter here to defend my own! I’m just a musician.)
That said, I thought the speech today was kind of blehhh. It’s getting pretty bad reviews across the board. If you date this guy, you might soon be dating an unemployed dude!

I am sorry to disappoint you girls but Jon Favreau, Obama’s chief speech writer, is gay.
