Pausing to give thanks

Things I’m currently grateful for:

A roof over my head. And not just any roof, the roof that I grew up with.

Time spent with family. I think, no matter what your current situation is, nothing can top being with your family. You may be rich or poor but at the end of the day, it is family that is most important.

Reconnecting with old friends on a higher level. Reconnecting with old friends, period. I just realized that when I was knee-deep in work, I did not give ample time to my friends. And mostly too it had to do with geography. It’s really an effort to keep in touch when you’re not in the same place and time zone.

Having great food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Having decent Internet connection. I know this is kinda shallow but I’ve been to places where Internet was hard to come by.

And there are tons of other things. Maybe I’ll write more today.
