“If you lead your life the right way, the karma will take care of itself,” Pausch said. “The dreams will come to you.”
This, from his obituary published in Marketwatch. Ironically, I read about his death on perezhilton.com (yes, I too read that).
I remember the entry I wrote after watching his last lecture on youtube. At that time, I hit a really big, hard brick wall. It seemed really insurmountable, the kind that gets even the best person down.
But now, half a year later, I get why I had to hit that wall. I got my dream vacation, one of the vacations of a lifetime (I still dream of going to Europe), and now, I’m on to better things. Who would have thought? Karma, indeed took care of itself and good things are about to come. Indeed, in the end, people really do get what they deserve.
My condolences to the members of the Pausch family. Though I have not met Randy, I’m sure he was a great guy who worked hard and believed that anything is possible. May his soul rest in peace.
