Watched “The Spirit.”
The whole time, I was thinking, “This so reminds me of ‘Sin City.’ There’s nothing different about it.”
Hey, I liked his tie. Blood red. That was my last thought before dozing off to sleep. I woke up again when I heard the phrase “dental chair.” I never liked the dentist, and I have to pay a visit soon.
Sarah Paulson has a lisp. She lisped in “Jack and Jill” (anyone remember that series?). She lisped in “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” (anyone remember that series?). Now, in this movie, I am reminded of her lisp.
Samuel L. Jackson’s teeth are extremely white, enhanced white.
Eva Mendes. Why is it that I find the girl who plays the younger Sand more appealing?
ScarJo’s character is weird. Wait, all of them are weird.
One of the people I watch the movie with says she liked it and that it was better than Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy’s “Wanted.” I had to argue, even if I have just met her. Na-uh. “Wanted” was waaaay cooler and way more interesting. Especially action-wise. Especially plot-wise. Especially the irony of how it frigging ended.
“The Spirit” was lacking.
